Perry County is home to America’s largest area of clay ground which is located between the village of Crooksville and Roseville which is located between the village of Crooksville and Roseville. Located off St. Rt. 93 at 7327 Ceramic Road you will find the Clay Center of Ohio, formerly the National Ceramic Museum and Heritage Center. The Clay Center of Ohio is the perfect place to learn more about the legacy of pottery.
When you visit the Clay Center you can enjoy walking trails and bird watching along with historical pieces of pottery dating back hundred of years ago.
Make plans to visit each July during the Crooksville/Roseville Pottery Festival which is kicked off by the Annual Ohio Plate Auction held at the center.
